About.
Gaëlle Spaas was born and raised in Belgium.
Ever since her early childhood Gaëlle has been fascinated by capturing the world through a lens. In 2015, at the age of 16, she started her first studies in audiovisual arts at Pikoh in Hasselt, after which she continued her studies in the Academic Visual Arts Photography at LUCA School of Arts, in Genk, BE.
She is currently trying to develop her own visual style within fashion photography. Her creations consist of a fusion between art and fashion, which she always tries to combine consistently.
Gaëlle Spaas’ style can be described as fashion photography with a hint of surrealism and ethereal beauty. Her work is layered with emotions and fictional stories that each embody a fascination within her imaginary worlds. These worlds usually consist of a dark, alienated atmosphere that still radiates a certain beauty. Gaëlle’s goal is to engage the viewer with her body of work and to broaden their minds.
Today Gaëlle lives and works in Belgium.
